Comedy becomes realistic when situation triggers it otherwise it ends up looking fake. “The Big Bang Theory” TV show has livened up to the situational comedy genre of television shows as it involves a group of geeks suffering from physiological disorders to portray situational comedy. Though the producers of the show could have gone over the board to generate comical situations but they have maintained a great balance.

“The Big Bang Theory” plot revolves around two male geniuses in their twenties, one a practical physicist named Leonard and the other a theoretical physicist named Sheldon who live near the house of an attractive blonde waitress with dreams to make it big in the world of show-biz. Leonard and Sheldon’s have been depicted as real geeks in action. Penny’s social skills and common sense is a huge contrast to their geek attitude. These characters and their inherent characteristics are really the backbone of situational comedy that is formed in “The Big Bang Theory.”

I am a techno geek in my real life and very often get involved in humorous incidents due to my attitude towards new age technology. This definitely makes me a great fan of “The Big Bang Theory” and I love all its geek characters. After all we geeks provide a reason to laugh to all those sulking faces. I feel like meeting Leonard and Sheldon in person as it will provide me a rare opportunity to catch up with fellows like myself.

With third and fourth season of “The Big Bang Theory” already been cleared for production, I can see my geek friends for a long time on the television screen. “The Big Bang Theory” has successfully banged our stress and made vents for letting the happiness inside us.

The upcoming issue of CBS’s Watch Magazine is going to have a picture of The Big Bang Theory’s star cast. Boys have always been mad about the looks of Kaley Cuoco, who plays Penny’s character. What’s more interesting about this news is that that we will be presented with a different side of Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar.

How many among us consider the characters portrayed by these actors to be hot and happening?  In fact the majority would say “Are you out of you mind”, how can these funny people be hot. But hey guys, the characters might come across as a bit geeky, but remember the actors are not exactly similar to the characters they portray. If you still doubt me, the picture is there for you to see. The picture provides a sneak preview about what we are going to experience in the upcoming issue of Watch magazine.

But the actors surely need to be applauded for their convincing performances on The Big Bang Theory. Such is the strength of on screen characters in The Big Bang Theory that we associate them with the actor’s real persona. The Big Bang Theory has completed just two seasons and it already has become a t favorite among the audiences. Many fans of this hilarious show just cannot stop praising it. I am really elated that its third season is going to begin sometime later this year.

Hey people! It is celebration time as according to reports, CBS is planning on making The Big Bang Theory tv show much bigger. Unconfirmed reports suggest that the network is on the brink of closing a deal with the creators for two more seasons of the hugely popular show.

If this turns out to be true, it will mean that fans will be able to see the show at least till 2011. The show which is currently airing Season 2 has had strong rating during the entire season and the same have been growing stronger with each passing week. There are also speculations about changing the airing time of The Big Bang Theory so that it is aired closer to another superb comedy show, Two and a Half Men. The show, which is just a few signatures short of being given an extension for two more seasons, is ready to reap the rewards of its success. In an era when every other day a supposedly good show is being cancelled due to its poor ratings, The Big Bang Theory has proved that comedy is a really serious business and the show has the potential to carry on this business quite successfully.

The story concept of The Big Bang Theory, which details the escapades of two ultra-geek physicists who are totally inept outside their laboratories, is quite unique in itself. I feel the show is fantastic in every aspect, be it writing, performances or the final cut. Although the characters use dialogues that are filled with scientific references, which many of the people might not understand, yet the show comes across as absolutely funny and witty. The Big Bang Theory not only covers the themes of rejection, friendship, and pride, among others, but also ensures that you keep laughing during the entire duration of an episode besides highlighting that even Particle Physics can be funny! I am really a crazy about The Big Bang Theory and would like to thank CBS for deciding to continue the series for two more seasons and I am sure that the series will grow much beyond that.

Well, since the moment I’ve come to know that Summer Glau is making an appearance on ‘The Big bang Theory’, I’ve been thinking how her appearance would affect the storyline and of course the viewers also. No doubts on the point that the gang of geeks would become more entertaining when they’d get a chance to hit the TV screen with Summer Glau. The lady is best known for her appearance on ‘Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles’ and would be seen playing herself on an upcoming episode of ‘The Big Bang Theory’.

Most probably, we’ll see her on the episode which is scheduled to be aired on March 9, 2009. Here, we’d see that Leonard, Sheldon, Howard and Raj would take a train to San Francisco and would come to know that Glau is on the same train. How two buddies, who always lack confidence when it comes to women, would approach her, watching it is gonna be rocking and brilliantly entertaining…. J I am waiting for such an interesting moment to come! Hopefully, this move would surely result in a hilarious episode.

The last week has been very lucky for ‘The Big Bang Theory’. The series got their best ratings ever and now, they’re getting a new name into their star-cast list. If you’re thinking why Summer on ‘The Big Bang Theory’, it’s not very confusing man as ‘The Big Bang Theory’ and ‘Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles’, both series are being produced by Warner Bros. so it’s just a style to bring the cast of one show to another, in hope to boost up the ratings of both.

As of now, the show is running with second season and the very recent episode was aired on February 9, 2009. It was entitled ‘The Maternal Capacitance’. Here, we saw that Leonard’s mother gave him a visit which helped to bring him and Penny closer. No more episodes are declared yet… so don’t know whether its’ a mid season break or new season is making its way!

Yeah, of course ‘The Big Bang Theory’ was rocking again and we heartily enjoyed the latest episode of the second season of show. Hey Pals, what I love about the show is the sweetness of its characters such as Leonard Hofstadter, Sheldon Cooper and Penny. I’ve been crazy for ‘The Big Bang Theory’ since its premiere and have never skipped any of the entertaining episodes of the both seasons. Currently, the series is on mid season break, and would return with new episodes on January 12, 2009.

The latest aired episode of the second season was entitled ‘The Bath Item Gift Hypothesis’ and here I am gonna write a review on that. Well, we saw that Penny informed Sheldon that she wanted to give presents to him and Leonard on the Christmas Eve. After substantial discussion with her, Sheldon also decided to give her a gift on the occasion. Well, Sheldon was determined to give her a correctly valued gift so he bought multiple basket sizes of the same bath item. He decided to give her the one of the size of Penny’s gift and would return the rest. David Underhill, the winner of the MacArthur Genius Grant, started dating Penny. It was not possible for Leonard to see her with someone else and his frustration ultimately resulted in him facing Penny about his feelings. At that time, Penny informed him that she had broken up the stuff with him after she watched the naked pictures of his wife in his cell phone.

And, then came the lucky moments for Leonard when Penny gave him a kiss on his cheek and laid her head on his shoulder…. Lucky man! At the Christmas Eve, Penny gave him a certificate to motorcycle lessons and he gave her 101 scientific experiments for kids. Penny’s gift for Sheldon was a personally autographed napkin from Leonard Nimoy. And, after realizing the value of the gift, Sheldon gave her all the bath item baskets. Making him more respectable in her eyes was the hug he gave her.

Ultimately, episode had a very nice and sweet end, which ‘The Big Bang Theory’ is known for.

Hey buddies! I hope you did not act stupid and missed the latest episode of The Big Bang Theory. If yes then you have missed a treat. Now before you start to question my comment, let me tell you that it was the episode that guest started Michael Trucco, the good looking actor from Battlestar Galactica. For those of you who do not know, Trucco plays the role of Samuel Anders on Battlestar Galactica. However in The Big Bang Theory, he was seen as David Underhill, a handsome scientist who is a partner with Leonard on a project. He also starts dating Penny which upsets Leonard, however later in the episode Penny breaks up with David after she finds the naked pictures of his wife on his cell phone. Personally, I liked the episode very much and it has already entered the list of my favorite episodes of the show. The scene that I liked most in the episode was Penny’s reaction when she met David for the first time and learned about his being a scientist. I don’t blame her, any girl in her right senses would have reacted in the same manner.

You know what guys I have always been perplexed by the awkwardness of the relationship between Penny and Leonard. The two have nothing in common and yet they share a great friendship. Maybe that is why it is said that opposites attract. But on a closer look, all the cast members share a wonderful relation with each other despite their varied intellectual and social backgrounds. The geekiness and intellect of the scientists is in contrast to social skills and common sense of Penny. I think that they all have something to share and all need to learn something from the other which is why they gel so well. Whatever be the reason, I find the show extremely funny and do not like to miss even a single episode. Hey lovers! Today I am going to tell you what makes me go wild about The Big Bang Theory. It is definitely one of the best comedies around. But what makes it special for me is the presence of Jim Parsons. The first day I saw the show I was really only appreciating his acting. But soon I found myself becoming more and more devoted to the show as well as Jim Parsons. He has been playing the role of Sheldon Cooper, the super intelligent guy who realizes that once outside his lab he is at loss on how to face the world. Jim has done full justice to the role of Cooper and his innocent looks have further enhanced his performance. I am sure he has made many hearts skip a beat with his smile.

On the show he very well portrays the image of Cooper who knows everything bout problems and equations but is a dumb ass when it comes to women. He along with his friend Leonard comes to realize about their social awkwardness only when the sexy waitress Penny moves into the apartment across the hall. They both make the saying “All work and no play make Jack a dull boy” seem so true. The smart, funny and totally adorable fool that Cooper is makes the show a treat to watch.

Well I am devout fan of his and love to see him perform on this fabulous show. In his personal life he is a very friendly guy and loves to play the piano. That is really romantic! He is also a sports lover and likes to watch tennis baseball and basketball. I just want to say that I want to see this show and my favorite star for many more years to come.

“The Big Bang Theory” is back with its second season full of humor. Like ever, show is again keenly exploring the theory of love. The season started with “The Bad Fish Paradigm”, which revolves around Penny and Leonard’s not so happening date. Sheldon and Leonard are looking cuter now, whereas, the crown of cuteness equally goes to Leslie as well. She is absolutely burnt in red hot fire of love, this season. Leslie dates Leonard in the second episode “The Codpiece Topology”. And their Chemistry??? I suppose, there is no space for that, but still this episode is quite mind boggling. Check it out……..

Actually Leslie’s date with Leonard is the result of Leonard’s jealous towards Penny as he saw her with a new guy at Renaissance Fair. To exacerbate the things a bit more, when Sheldon reaches there in the apartment where Leslie and Leonard are trying to enjoy their date. Now the date turns over into debate over Lorentz Invariance and Black Hole Entropy among Leslie and Sheldon. Later this converts into debate over kids among Leslie and Leonard and eventually they break up during their first date.

In “The Barbarian Sublimation”, Sheldon tries to help frustrated Penny find a date through online dating service and miserably fails in the end. Whereas, “The Griffin Equivalency” revolves around Raj, who becomes one of the People’s “30 to Watch Under 30”. This makes him overly arrogant and pretentious and meantime Leonard’s crush for penny becomes his prime target. You can’t imagine how he transformed it into a disastrous play. The last episode aired was “The Euclid Alternative”. This episode was purely a driving class for Sheldon. Now the next episode will be aired on November 3, 2008. I’ve heard that in that episode, Sheldon will get a young admirer. Cool it will be fun to watch him handling somebody’s crush for him this time.

My favorite from this season’s episodes is “The Codpiece Topology”. After an awkward date with Leslie, Leonard tries his luck with Penny by kissing her on the hallway. As Howard and Rajesh were spying over them, so their act unknowingly gets recorded on a camera. The whole season is a fun packet. I wanna give another look to these episodes.

‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 1 is over and series is currently running with second season. Season 1 opener brings Sheldon and Leonard, the two roommates and physicists and we quickly fall in love with these two men, who have a sound knowledge of black holes and integrals, but have a little knowledge about how to deal with women. In season opener ‘Pilot’, we see Penny, a stereotypical beautiful blonde, who joins them as a neighbor and Leonard develops a crush on her.

In ‘The Big Bran Hypothesis’, a disturbed Sheldon appears who is frustrated with Penny’s messy and disorganized apartment. Later that night, he tries to clean it, but it results in mayhem when Penny wakes up and Leonard also appears in her apartment. Sheldon apologizes and elucidates himself. Leonard also apologizes which makes Penny hug him. This was the first hug he receives from his dream girl. Next episode ‘The Fuzzy Boots Corollary’ brings a distressed Leonard when he sees Penny kissing a guy and it forces him to think that he has been rejected by her. Sheldon feels sympathy for him and cajoles him to ask Penny out to dinner. Sheldon has every intention to make this relationship work.‘The Luminous Fish Effect’ brings Sheldon who has been fired and he tries to explore life outside the University campus. It makes Leonard take forceful action to snap his friend out of his funk and decides to call Sheldon’s mom who’s a down-to earth, sweet and a devout Christian woman. Next episode was entitled ‘The Hamburger Postulate’. We see that after a musical practice at the guys’ apartment, Leslie, a fellow scientist seduces Leonard for a sexual encounter and he ends up having sex with her. On the other hand, Sheldon discovers that Penny’s restaurant has a superior Hamburger and he decides to be a regular customer.

In ‘The Middle Earth Paradigm’, Penny throws a Halloween party and everyone is invited to enjoy the occasion. Leonard has a dustup with Penny’s ex-love. Then, came the episode entitled ‘The Dumpling Paradox’ and we see that Penny is forced to sleep on Leonard and Sheldon’s couch as the guys have taken her apartment. She’s also asked to join their HALO team.

The series has completed its first season and was well received. With second season in process which will be aired somewhere around September 2008, the big wait of its fans will come to an end. The fans have completely enjoyed the show ever since it’s first episode and have loved the comedy part of it. The freshness of the concept with special attention given to not so happening people. A good side of the geeks is revealed on the show.

The show is hilarious and romantic too. The psyche of the men who have never been with girls. Their fears and strengths are showcased with real emotions. Some viewers are of the view that these actors must be introverts in their real lives too, that’s why they can portray them so well that they seem like real characters.

Everyone is badly waiting for the show to restart as they want to see what new will be on the show. As the fans were of the view that the series got better with every episode in the last season, so they are eagerly waiting for the new season and which they hope will be much better and full of more laughs. Well let’s wish all the best to the show and hope that the show will keep entertaining us.
